Maple - Walking Stick
Maple - Walking Stick
Maples have been used for hundreds of years in America. From the Native Americans brewing cough medicine from the tree's inner bark, to maple trees being used produce soap from the wood ash. Over time, people were known to consume the sap for its medicinal uses. Harvesting the sweet sap has played a large role in the history of maple trees. Sugar maple is still grown for sugar production. Other important maple tree uses include roles in lumber production. Sugar maple wood is exceptionally dense and hard. That's why it is used to make furniture and cabinets. Maples are widely used in Landscapes as well.
